Acer Iconia W4 3G Tablet with Windows 8.1 launched at Rs. 29,999



Acer, increasing its tablet portfolio in India, has proclaimed the 3G variant of its Iconia W4 (Wi-Fi only) tablet dubbed Iconia W4 3G at Rs. 29,999.
The company has declared that the tablet are going to be out there beginning Saturday. Further, the tablet can even be pre-ordered from Acer India's Facebook page.

The Iconia W4 3G tablet comes with identical viscus as the Iconia W4, except that the previous comes with a SIM card slot and 3G connectivity support. The Iconia W4 3G, very similar to the Wi-Fi only variant, comes preloaded with Microsoft office Home and Student 2013 for creating and piece of writing Microsoft Word, excel and PowerPoint documents.

The Acer Iconia W4 tablet runs Windows 8.1, Microsoft's latest OS for desktops, notebooks and x86 tablets. Windows 8.1 brings new additions like increased looking out and sharing options Internet Explorer 1, improved touch optimization and brings back the 'Start' button.

The tablet is supercharged by 1.8GHz quad-core Intel Atom Z3740 'Bay Trail-T' processor as well as 2GB of LPDDR3 RAM. The Acer Iconia W4 tablet options an 8-inch IPS (1280x800 pixel) display with Zero Air Gap touch technology. It sports a 5-megapixel rear autofocus camera and alongside a 2-megapixel front-facing camera.

The Iconia W4 3G tablet comes with 64GB built-in storage and supports an extra expandable storage up to 32GB via microSD card. connectivity options on the tablet embrace Bluetooth, Micro-HDMI, Micro-USB, Wi-Fi and 3G (via SIM). It packs a 4960mAh battery.

Acer launched the Iconia W4 (Wi-Fi only) in India at Rs. 24,999 for the 32GB model, whereas the 64GB variant of the Tablet was priced at Rs. 26,999. Notably, Acer 1st launched the Iconia W4 (Wi-Fi) for the U.S.A. market in October last year.

Acer on Tuesday launched 2 new tablets, the Iconia One 7 and Iconia Tab 7, at its 'a touch additional connected' event in New York.
